The lure of libraries for me would never match that period of my tertiary education. Apart from the university’s library I also frequented the Morecambe Library, a treasure trove of national and international magazines and newspapers. My gateway to the world! A unique structure consisting of three linked octagons and a modern interior with stylish suspended bean-can lights, the Morecambe Library played a big part in my life.
